There is a new version of Mailwasher on the website www.mailwasher.net

This is version 2.0 beta (test version) and has many improvements in speed and processing. New features such as Hotmail support and SMTP authentication are included. This version is also later than anticipated (sorry about that) but I would rather get Mailwasher working to a high standard before releasing it.

Please note that this is a beta version (test version) and is likely to contain bugs, but we`ll fix any of these as soon as possible and will notify you when we release a stable version.

You don`t need to uninstall the previous version before installing this one, just run the setup and all your existing settings will be retained.

1. New Improvements

* SSL Support
* Customizable port addresses
* SMTP authentication
* Hotmail Support
* Option to bounce email via machine that sent the email, rather than ISPs SMTP server
* Bouncing for MSN
* Simultaneous downloading of email from multiple accounts makes checking mail much faster.
* Skipping of e-mails already in the list during subsequent mail checks ensures faster mail checking.
* Error digest

* Option to disable bouncing for an account

Thank you to all those people who have offered ideas for future versions, this helps to make Mailwasher a better tool for everyone. I have a huge list of features for future versions.


3. Tip
===============

If you are sick of receiving spam from foreign sources (and of course you can`t read them), you can make a filter to automatically mark these as spam.

For example, say you are receiving spam from Korea.

With Korean Spam you can filter for the character set. Have a look at the entire header (when you preview a message, tick the `display full header and message source`) and you will see `charset=something`, and make a filter for entire header looking for that `something`.

Thank you for speedy reply and the suggestion. But the way has not did help.
Do please all possible to get over it. I am working at plant of strong regime
and can not simply change my e-mail address (also I have not
full on-line access on my PC).
I get very big amount of spam everyday and it is really big problem,
but a moderator here is absoliutely apathetic to the problem.

Please advise me if there will the new release.
